Is Gaelic Telecom the only Approved GAA Telecom Partner?A. Yes, this partnership was approved by Central Council, at Congress on 24th April 2004. Q. Does the money go directly to the Clubs & County?A. Yes, and it goes directly to your nominated Club and/or County Players Training Fund. Q. Can anyone join?A. Yes, Gaelic Telecom is available to everyone. Q. Will my telephone number or telephone line change?A. No, You will keep your existing telephone number and telephone line. Q. Will I receive one bill for Line Rental & calls?A. Yes - when your line is transferred you will receive only one bill from Gaelic Telecom. Q. Will I notice any disruption to my phone Service?A. No, we transfer your service to Gaelic Telecom without any interruption. Q. How long does it take to transfer to Gaelic Telecom?A. In a matter of days you'll be a Gaelic Telecom customer, saving money on your phone bill & generating revenue for your Club & County. Q. Will anyone need to visit my home or premises?A. No, the transfer is carried out by Gaelic Telecom with your current telephone company Q. Who do I call for assistance?A. If you need assistance we are here to provide a solution so your first & only call is to Gaelic Telecom on 1890 929 929 Q. How often will I receive a bill?A. If you join Gaelic Telecom you will receive a bill every 2 months. Q. How do I Pay?A. For your convenience, and to ensure that all monies are transferred directly to your club we are providing you with the means to pay by Direct Debit, Laser Card or Credit Card. Q. Are there any hidden charges?A. Absolutely not. Q. Can I change my mind?A. Yes, We are here to provide you with the best service possible & you are free to change your mind - The Choice is Yours. Q. Will there be any repercussions for Eircom Employees?A. Eircom are Employing more people to Compete with us. We are using Eircom at every stage in the Process. We are Eircoms 3rd Biggest Customer. Q. Will Eircom be slower to respond as I'm no longer using their service?A. Eircom have an agreement with Gaelic Telecom to manage all Fault Reports with us. This agreement is closely monitored by the Regulator - Eircom WILL respond within 48hrs. Q. Will it affect my Internet Service?A. Majority of users use a 'Dial-up' Service and there is no Change. Q. Does the club need a minimum number of members to join Gaelic Telecom Scheme?A. Absolutely not. Q. How often does the Club/County receive a payment?A. Payments are made every 6 months - Verified by external Auditors. Q. Can I pay using BillPay at the Post Office?A. Yes this process is being finalised with An Post. |
