Evening Herald, Page 72, 22-Apr-2008 Clubs reaping Telecom benefits It's good to talk....that's the advice of GAA president, Nickey Brennan. Last year Gaelic Telecom and its Dublin customers raised over €100,000 for GAA clubs and primary schools in the county. The Gaelic Telecom initiative sees 15% of call costs being donated back to customers' nominated GAA club or primary school. Lucan Sarsfields was one club that benefited from the scheme, as their offical, Paul Stapleton explains: "This was a great boost to the everyday running of the club. Gaelic Telecom does all the work, so it is easy for the club to benefit." |
